What I sometimes do is coat the wing case with (the name escapes me at the moment... CRS...) that wing case cement... Yeah that's what it is, wing case cement... It's thicker than regular head cement, and more flexible. That helps keep the fibers together.

I tied up a bunch of hares ears last night at work. I have been having a problem with the wing case splitting. I am using turkey wing/tail feathers. Any suggestions?
Also got my Rope-Dub swap flies done. The are Pink Power Buggers (the shop didn't have orange Spey hackles). They should be killer on stockies, since that is the color and bait of choice around here for non FF bow hunters.
