[VFB] Shooting head question

Hi all   Here's a question about shooting heads I need some help on.   I recently bought a 30 foot 7 wt intermediate shooting head -- I'm hoping to use it for fishing in salt water.   My question is -- what should I attach it to?    Do I need an intermediate running line -- or would a DT7F or a WF7F line work?   Is a full intermediate line better in salt water than an intermediate shooting head attached to a floating running line?   Thanks again for any advice.   Ken MacGillivray Coquitlam BC
