What color is your beagle..does she have the classic black saddle or is she "blonde" saddleless as is my Josie? If she is a lemon and yellow..this is very great dubbing hair. When I had my previous black saddled beagle, I'd brush the black hair with a kitty brush separate from the brown/white areas as that is absolutely great stuff for darker nymphs. Enjoy. Joyce
