Using this same idea could you use a 'mini-head' of
fast sinking wet fly line (such as Wet Cel Type V)?

I think it's a little more flexible and would cast

Has anyone tried this? How would I attach the
section? Knots or loop connectors?

Thanks in advance,
Preston
