We were vacationing on Squam Lake in New Hampshire in a rental cabin (heh! five
bedrooms, two fireplaces) and had a dock and a raft out about 50 yards in the lake.
The whole family was swimming, about 10 people all together.

My Brother in Law was swimming from the raft on the outside - the lake side, when a
fisherman, casting from a boat hooked him, casting to our raft, and assuming it was
his right to fish where he damn well pleased. We were interupting his sport. Brother
in law got a treble hook in the nether parts.

In crowded conditions, ass holes come to the surface. There are slob fishermen as
well as slob boaters, and other jerks.

I recommend as good reading before we go out the Second Letter of John.
