They watched me catch and release a few fish, and then started throwing crap into the water. First apples, then the remains of lunch, and finally rocks. Complaints just brought verbal abuse.
I guess I'm just not a good Christian. The last time someone (much bigger than me) did a similar thing I told them the rocks weren't big enough and threw the bloke in. Told him HE was almost big enough to startle the fish. His friends just cussed me but stayed back. Helps if you've had a wrestling career and a blackbelt before trying this approach. Usually I just backcast with a #4 wooly bugger to ignorant asses.
OTOH, my buddy happened on some Mennonites putting clorox in a famous pool. He said not a word but dumped sand and gravel in their vans gas tank. Our motto is to live and let live but don't tread on us. Guess I'll have to take anger management classes now.
