Tom, I've made and used hot glue eggs..but must admit that I've never caught a single fish on them. I can do fine if they are a Pettis unreal egg with some surrounding soft Aunt Lydias craft yarn tied around them to shroud them a bit in a film, and with a bit of sparkle tail, but just plain, have never had a single fish. Don't let my sad experience dampen your enthusiasm howver. This is only one person's experience on a single river. Joyce
