Wes,
I would try some CDC feathers. Ty some barbules below the thorax of the fly
imitation the legs, or wrap a long feather around the nthorax. The barbules
float on top the water and move a lot giving the ilusion of motion.
Hans' CDC and Elk uses this principle. I myself like to wrap a CDC feather
as an abdomen for an Adams.
