I used to cement my flies during different stages of the tying process. This keep you from reclaiming the hooks from flies that are "used up". Now I only cement the heads [if that], depending on what the fly will be used far (species).

How many of you do this?
I find that a dozen gills will take the marabou off an SMP. I tend to just retye the marabou in.
I also use a few other patterns that get the marabou ripped apart.
Does any one else do stuff like this?
