I do.

 

For me it’s clousers. Once a cuda gets it the bucktail needs redone. Basically I just salvage the eyes and hooks. I’ve started using craft fur though and it stands up to the cuda teeth much better. Now if I’d just use stronger tippet…..

How many of you do this?

 

I find that a dozen gills will take the marabou off an SMP.

  I tend to just retye the marabou in.

 

I also use a few other patterns that get the marabou ripped apart.

 

Does any one else do stuff like this?
