[VFB] fishing report

Hit the pond at about 6:30 last night.  Wind was blowing about 30 mph so it was the the far side where the hill and trees block the wind some.   Also had to bend some of the grass over so I could cast.  It was so high that it caught my back cast.  (Tells about my casting abilty.)   Caught several fish on several different flies. Brought 27 gills and 17 crappie home.  Release 21 gills that were over 12 " long to stay in the pond.  Also caught alot of 6 to 8" bass.   Biggest fish of the night was an 8 lb channel cat that I did not know was in the pond.  What he was doing taking a fly when it hit the surface I am not sure.   It was a fun evening.   Rick   PS  Come back any time Jason.
