How do you fish your soft hackles? And under what circumstances do you
tie on a soft hackle?
I'll fish a soft hackle anytime. I fish mine in a three fly team, each fly different. Cast up and across and let swing in the current. At the end of the drift, allow to drift near to the surface. Recast.
