Hi Bill
I don't claim to be in the know. Last year I fished Yellowstone Lake for the spawning lakers October 13th and I was too late for them. A friend had fished the outlet of Lewis Lake about two weeks before and landed several browns. There is a fall run of rainbows in the Madison also. There was snow on the ground when I was there.

Does anyone on this list know if the first week in Oct. is good for catching
migrating browns in Yellowstone? Is it later? Does anyone know when the best
chances of catching migrating browns on the Madison, Gibbon, Gardner is? Do
I need to be prepared for snow? Well, I know it could snow in the Park at
anytime during sep. & oct. but I mean can you still get around with an
automobile? Any in the know?
