No need to apologize. I'm glad you weren't upset. And
since an afficionado (which should be spelled with only one
"f") of connotations, I am glad to learn the difference.
I re-read my response and found that I DID over-do it. And I
forgot to use smiley-faces, too.
Maker was the title bestowed on the craft by Leonard if I remember correctly. Wayne Cattanach picked up on it, and most folks that fiddle with bamboo sticks like to use it. It kinda fits with bamboo rod making being a craft and an art. I've nothing against the custom rod builders, I think they turn out some extraordinary rods, and many of them are talented way beyond me when it comes to wrapping guides and other things.
