Sorry I forgot to mention that it was the Chilliwack/Vedder River. We also spent 2 days at Harrison River , catching some 3-4kg Pinks on my 1hand #7 rod.

So the only place to fish was where there were some deep holes, and there the big salmon was waiting for the water to come. After a day of rain the river level raised 20 cm and the salmon started to go up. That day I caught 15 king salmon over 15 kg :-)).and none under. The techniques was very simple, the fly across the river let I float down the river and STRIKE. The flies we used are the ones you can see in the pictures alle WERY heavy and on a sinking line(sink 6) and sink leader(also sink 6). -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Wes Wada Sent: 13. november 2003 23:48 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [VFB] Best of 2003 Vagn Hansen wrote: > www.fly-fishing.dk (See the pictures from my Canada trip) Good Heavens, Vagn!
