I thought just a few drops would do it, but was afraid to ruin it. Actually 
i kept hoping there was something actually made for that. And now you say

You're using too much polish remover Del.   Just a little bit.   They do 
sell a product at Sally Beauty Supply that thins nail polish with just a 
few drops.  That's all you should use of the polish remover is just a few 
drops and shake the polish really well.  If you need more it is easy to add 
a few more drops.
