I believe that Sally Hansens Hard as Nails is really a lacquer, just bottled in a more profitable way than a pint of laquer at your local hardware store. As such, lacquer thinner should be the best choice since it contains Acetone, MEK, Butyl Alcohol, Butyl Acetate and about five or six other products.
