Deb, you out to try to come out to West Yellowstone in Aug. and tye at the
FFF I.C. This comming Aug. will be my third time doing it, and it is a gas.
So many cool tyers to hang out with, you really make good friends that way.
Tom Whiting will most likely be there, he usually is. This past Aug. he gave
each of us a neck/saddle of choice. One each of whatever we wanted from a
stash he had chosen, good stuff too. So i choose one the new spey hackle
skins, and then i bought a few, and then he threw a couple more in for free
again. I talked with him a lot the first day and didn't even know it was
"HIM." LOL. Just seemed like a really nice guy that worked for Whiting, LOL.
Then i found out and we really got to talkin' about birds. It's so
fascinatein'. One of my dogs just killed four more of my birds and ate them.
My only rooster left, my little pet hen (cross between a Silky and
something), and an Aracona (Easter Egg chicken), and a beautiful
Andallousian Blue Dun hen. I told Tom how i got that Cree Rooster of his at
the CFFC&M diner, and how much i paid, he cracked up. And wow, he must of
had 25 of his full bird mounts with him in Idaho, VERY COOL! All kinds and
colors, hens and roosters. Guess he donates a lot of those to organizations
for fund raising. Very generous person. Well Deb, "think" about it, dig? I
know they'd love to have you. mark
