Joyce.........on another note. First your fly in the College Colors swap is 
really cool. I love it. I would like to put it on display in my gallery. 
Could you PLEASE send me a signed personall or business card, (signed on the 
front), so that i may be able to properly display the fly? Thank you soooo

Don, find that I can do more with the "rope dub" than I can currently with
the Magic tool..can do everything that the Magic tool does with a slit 
piece
of Styrofoam and a piece of plastic to push the feathers, fur, etc into it.
But, there is an advantage to knowing all techniques..after all, one may
work better than another when one is tying certain sized flies. that is the
beauty of the "rope" dub..can be used in 24s as well as 10s. I find that on
the tiny flies, that just to split the thread or double loop the dubbing
works better with out the Magic tool for me. But, I've not used it a lot 
yet
so expect that it will take some getting used to.  Thanks for asking. Joyce
