We also have a tying group called GADFLIES "Grandest Association of Drinkers and Liars In the Entire State".
We meet on the first Tuesday of the month. We rotate at each members house each month. The host supplies the place, tying material, fly pattern and tying instructions. The host also supplies a soft drink for each tyer and some treats.
The past few years we have invited the wives to come along. They visit while we tie. When we meet at my house my wife will usually have a craft project for the wives to do. Our sessions are two hours but seem to linger to about three hours. No one complains. I have been with this group for nine years, we have lost a few and gained a few.
When we have visitors that are here the first Tuesday of the month, we invite them to sit in.

A guild is any group devoted to a specific area..such as, in this case, flytying. We meet once a month, on the average, tie flies, teach each other new patterns or tricks, watch a tying of fishing video and share our fishing experiences..great for all of us. Joyce
