A picture and ingredient list is usually good enough without taking the fly
apart...

When I copy another tiers patterns, I get two flies.
One of them for a model/archiving, and the other for
dissection.
Here is an idea:  Anybody ever take digital pics of a
fly dissection?  Would be a good way to come up with a
record for tying the pattern :)
