May I suggest that you get in touch with Larry Tullis..he is one of the experts on the Green River. He has a "Green River Journal" that is an inexpensive paperback and covers all aspects. He has also been very kind to answer questions on lline. You can reach him by going into the http://www.flyshop.com and then the pattern archive and then do a search of his name. you'll see his foam wiggler pattern and attached to that is his email address. He runs a great guide service. I checked with our local flyshop here today, and at this time, midges (22-24s) are working well as well as smaller streamers..14s and 12s.  But, I think that that changes a lot from moment to moment. The fish are shy in many areas, so if you have a float tube, you will find that floating a bit is worth your while. Hope this helps. Joyce
