I have fished the Green many times.  In my opinion, Dennis Breer of Trout Creek Flies knows the river better than anyone alive.  Joyce's suggestion of Larry is another Dean of the river.  Western Rivers out of Salt Lake does a nice job.

The Provo is a great little river.  You can stay in Heber for a good price.  From there you can fish the middle, lower and upper Provo easily.    Here's a site for you. http://www.fishwestoutfitters.com/reports.php

Subject: [VFB] Green River, Utah

Hi All,
Our club, Old Pueblo Trout Unlimited, is going to plan a trip to the Green River in Utah from Tucson. Is there any reasonable lodging near the river for small groups (6-12 people) . We are also considering fishing the Provo since we'll be flying into Salt Lake; so info on reasonable places there would be good as well. Also, any info on good guides in either area would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff C
