I agree; Here in the east most decent trout streams get heavy pressure and the fish not only get educated they get used to people and stop reacting to there presence, they just stop feeding. This obviously drives most folks nuts. One trick that frequently works is to look a the sides of a pool and note the places people use to fish or enter the water, also look at the way you would fish the hole normally. Now avoid all those places, attack the pool from the least fishy route, the one no one else uses because it is hard to cast to or you only get a short float etc. The fish are so used to the normal pressure that this "new" approach will often fool them.
