if you're fishing behind alot of people or the stream gets alot of
pressure, 
try moving off the "beaten path" and go with less "famous" nymphs.  Make
up 
some of your own, or simple black/white/orange dubbed nymphs could work.

Try to replicate what the fish feed on.  Also, throw in some hares ear.

Maybe try some soft hackle flies and some wet flies?
