I saw a pattern the other day that was just a wooly Bugger that had two
saddle hackles attached as the tail, then the tips were cut out of the
saddles to make them look look like claws. Would probably work just
fine

Any thoughts on a worthy crawfish pattern? I'm a middle weight when it
comes
to tying, and many crawfish patters are just too complicated for me. I
want
to be able to tie flies, and still have some time to actually fish!

Don't forget leeches! You may get a walleye or two to boot

Put on a CRAWFISH pattern and I am pretty sure the tides will turn heavy
in your direction
