Some things never change. The origin of the term "computer/programing bug" is supposed to have been back in 1945 when the Mark II computer failed. The cause was found to be a moth caught in one of the relays. When it was removed everything was OK and the operator logged the event as having debugged the computer. Not fishing related unless you tie a copy of the moth and see what bites.
