Reminds me of the small gas station/ general store/ volunteer fire department at the junction of the roads on the Platt river in Colorado when I used to fish there as a kid. The owner had the various sundry fishing supplies, but only one tray of flies down low. I ask him why he only had one tray of flies for such a nice trout stream. He replied, "I have a lot of other flies, they are up on the shelf above you, but for this stretch of the river you only need 1, that one". It did produce, and I still have a couple I think, not in the greatest shape though after 35 years. Jimi
Jimi, You will never become a commercial tyer. LOL I would get calls for 15 doz. olive woolly buggers. I only lasted three years before I gave it up. I only tie for Phyllis now. Tony
