I think our "official" accumulation is around a foot, depending where on the drift it's measured. My driveway faces N/S, and the only drift is at the front of the car. A friend called who has an E/W driveway. He has a four foot drift in his drive.
I told him as soon as I had my share of brandy, I'd send the St. Bernard down his way, assuming there was any left.
I went out to get the morning paper (the driver has a Jeep Cherokee). Our little ragmop of a dog went out with me for her morning tinkle. She couldn't even squat - just layed there long enough to leave a yellow spot then tried to wallow her way back. It's bad when you live in occasional snow country and have a dog that is so low to the ground that you have to go shovel it a poop path. That comes right after the driveway, which comes right after the brandy.
