I have a small trunk with drawers also and I keep moth balls and small cedar sachets in the drawers.   I also keep some of my flies in Riker boxes.   I keep a couple moth balls behind the cotton in the Riker boxes.  I have some very nice flies stored this way and haven’t had any problems yet.   They sell them on Ebay and Hunters Anglers has them also.  I show my more delicate flies this way also when I tie at shows.  This keeps them in one piece.

Subject: Re: [VFB] Swap Flies - Displaying and Preserving

Jack,
I do all the formentioned. I store in shadow boxes, fly boxes, and in "Swap Sets". Untill recently, I had a oak trunk with drawers and a glass lid that held my "Special Flies".
