I'm at day 8 after having my eyes done. Well, my left eye any way. I have to go back in 7 weeks to get my right eye finished. They started on the right but didn't cut the "flap" enough to complete the job so I get to back and enjoy the process again.
As far as tying is concerned, it sure is great not to have a reflection from my glasses and tying light. I'm lucky because I didn't have to chose between near or close vision. My sight is still improving, so I should be able to spend more time at the vise in the coming weeks. I've only tied a few so far...
