Hey Tony,
They were quite a pair, I must say. Tied with them at the Eugene show a few times. I believe I saw Kathy at last year's show, though it could have been '03. This year's show is in a month; I'll see if I can track her down.

I treasure my collection of Pollywogs, Cascade Specials, and other flies that Linda swapped with me once upon a time. She was always ready to share a fly, material, technique, or a wild tale with you.

I miss her.

Monte

P.S. Murf - Nice idea on a dedication page.

Linda and Kathy Johnson "The Terrible Two" as they were known in the tying show circle were to come out.
I got to tie with both of them.
I wonder what Kathy is doing now.
Does anyone know about her. After Linda passed on, Kathy fell out of sight.
Murf, I will be sending you an E mail off list regarding some of this.
Tony

Danged Tony! I still have her in my address book too if I'm not mistaken. Maybe we can do a dedication page to lost friends with pics of them and their creations.

Byard? If we members do most of the work, will you post the page on the VFB as a tribute? Heck, I'll even call and write their families to ask for written permission. Since the VFB is a non-profit club of sorts, most would have no problem I'd think.

If this idea is in bad taste or would hurt anyone's feelings, tell me off list and I'll drop it now.

Murf
