I didn't do well dry fly fishing with the one I have. Mine is a 5' 5 wt. and I had a wf 6 on it and I was in my pontoon. I'd see how it works with the WF3 and go from there. I fished an intermediate on it and I did better with that.

Well, I just received a rod from the site (The Global dorbeR Group, Inc. - BRUNSELL's Li'l Streamer ) that you were all discussing. I've been looking for a light weight short rod for the longest time and didn't realize how easy it really was to get one. Ordered it 2 days ago and here it is today a 5' 3wgt rod and looks great. I'm matching it up to my Hardy featherweight reel and a WF3F line. I do have a question though. With a rod like this for dry fly fishing, is the WF3F line good enough or should I go to a DT2F also? I know the WF is better for distance but I didn't really get this short rod for distance, just fishing tight spaces? So, would the DT2F be a better line?
