I appreciate it... I'm the same way.... Send me your addy and I'll send ya a bar or two of my "Anise Herbal Fishing Soap Bars" The herb anise is a fish attractant, and if you keep a bar in your tacklebox, and say, you get gas or oil, or whatever on your hands, you wash your hands with it in the lake (purely environmentally safe to the water), and it mask any odors that might run the fish off too, Thanks again, Chuck

No, you won't its my way of helping to welcome you. Besides, If I cant help out a fellow brim fisher, and a fly fisher at that, what good am I I say!!
Bass fishing and Striper fishing takes no patience. All you do is tie a balloon to your line 10 ft. above your 1/0 Kale or Circle hook. Hook a live shiner or blue back herring through the nostrils, and let it swim back off. Then you crack a beer and read a good book. Occasionally look up from the book. When you have one on you will know it.
Last time I went to Lake Russel Dam, the shad were schooling right against the shore. There were bass everywhere and I couldn't get none of them to take a fly. I did get to see a few of them eating shad; Man are then fast!!!
