All you do is tie a balloon to your line 10 ft. above your 1/0 Kale or Circle hook. Hook a live shiner or blue back herring through the nostrils, and let it swim back off. Then you crack a beer and read a good book. Occasionally look up from the book. When you have one on you will know it.     Last time I went to Lake Russel Dam, the shad were schooling right against the shore. There were bass everywhere and I couldn't get none of them to take a fly. I did get to see a few of them eating shad; Man are then fast!!!                                                                                 Del
