Subject: [VFB] Fishing the Gillbuster

I have a few of these and never really had great catches with them, am I fishing them wrong? How do you fish them? I treat them like a nymph/bugger.

That is pretty much it.  However,  I tie them with small eyes so they fall a bit more slowly.

I let them fall all the way to the bottom and then I work them.  I work the GillBuster a

little slower than I do buggers and as usual, 90% of the hits come on the falling fly.

Bill Byrd use to have a very lengthy article on his web site that I was going to send to you,

but he must have taken that site down. I did e-mail him asking for the article, which I will send to

you if I get it .
