I spent a good 45 minutes Saturday watching him tie. It was very
enlightening. I haen't used anything I've learned from him yet, but I
have some ideas how to incorporate some his techniques into my tying.
Need to find more time to tie. Teaching summer school is keeping mer
very busy.

About the book, I saw the book at their booth at the show, then the
next time i walked by, I didn't see the book at the booth. Nobody I
know of is willing to sell their thired edtion of Tom's book, and they
are in very short supply. Rick may like his previous edition better,
but all editions contain mainly the same material, with a few slight
variations in the patterns (a few added, a few dropped.) but like i
said the best photography was in the third book, a new photographer
prepared all the plates, and much more detail is easily seen.
