I work in Watertown MA, pretty much the peoples republic of
environmental extremism. It is amazing what these wackos consider the
natural order of things. Some of the folks I know even feed their cats
a vegetarian diet. (Cats are obligate carnivores, a vegetarian diet
kills them sooner or later, usually sooner)They really believe that
humans are the problem kind of a disease, Let me CORRECT THAT other
humans are the disease and their warped sense of purpose they see
themselves as somehow outside of the equation. Amazing really. I now
frequently travel to upstate New York and to upper Wisconsin and the
chance to relate to folks who actually live on the land and understand
our place in it is very refreshing. Just as an aside the most dedicated
vegetarian I know live on a bull stud in upstate New York. To her it is
simply a choice, she can't stand to kill anything for food but I knew
her almost a year before I put 2 and 2 together. No preaching, no
holier than thou attitude nothing. And she fully understands the circle
of life thing-they regularly have to beef bulls who no longer produce,
she just chooses not to participate-refreshing.

To make this fishing related I get my boat on the water this weekend,
stirpers here I come
