That is what I meant. he IMPLIED that it was the extremist that he was referring to.. I know religion and politics Is a hot topic on ANY group.. I may be new to this group, but not to the Net or Yahoo, and yes, those topics bring out emotions very much... But from what I do know of Jimi.. I think he is not the kind of man to lump everybody into one ball.. That is what I meant to say... I don't think he was referring to you personally..But rather, to a group, that, for example want to BAN all Gold Prospecting of ANY kind (Sierra Club to be exact).. even recreational panning for gold....That, is extreme...You (and I) wanting to leave this world in better shape than we found it is NOT extremism.. Two things really set me off. First, there is no reference to extremists or activists. Jimi simply references environmentalists. Second, You are pretty new to the list and may not realize that one of the things that makes this list work is that WE DON'T DISCUSS POLITICS or RELIGION other non-FF topics. Having said that, I did get a nice off list note from Tony S and ALLLLLLAN Fish that suggested that Jimi may not have meant what he said or at least not with vehemence that he used. I have sent Jimi a note off list as well. JG
