Tony, Once you hit size 28, the numbers are kinda arbitrary. I was told the #34's that I have are #40's , but proportionately to the Mustad 32, they are not. But, OTOH, proportionately to the Tiemco #32, they are easily a #40. I can send you that photo and you can tell me if it's the same hook.
