"On the way back to Eugene, Jim asked Tom why they hadn’t caught any steelhead.  Tom grinned and said, “That’s steel heading, Jim”. The next year the story was completely different, no rainbows, cutts or salmon, but four big steelheads right at nine pounds each.   As Tom says “once a steelheader, always a steelheader.” Jim said he’d second that notion!"
