That is one UGLY fly. Whoa! Not to the fish mind you, which is my point. That fly looks like a creepy crawly bug my munchkins wouldn't touch, the litmus test of whether it looks real.
Not the tie ain't bad but you can tell the tyer is a beginner in his first or second month at tying.
Now if this post don't get yer blood boilin Tony, you're about to cross over into the land of the soap opera. ;-)
Actually, we've hit this point many times. But after a few cordial discussions today in a few shops I happened by, seems too many folks are keen on what appeales to their eye, not the fish. Opinions? Thoughts? Empty beer bottles coming my way?
