I tried that... didn't work. If I put the feather on top in the paper tray, the printer still grabbed the paper underneath. If I removed the papers and put the feather alone in there, I got a message box that said "Paper tray is empty." Now, that printer was pretty old. Maybe yours is newer and more forgiving.

That is true... My ink jet printer makes black by combining blue, yellow, and red.. Chuck

Kool Aid (no sugar) is a cheap and effective dye.  Forget Rit.  Black is a combo of all the basic colors, right?

Can anybody tell Me if I can dye feathers with "Rit" dye (For dying clothing). Or is there a special dye??? Thanks, Chuck
