Veronica has already let me know she only has eyes for your fly and says my hook is not only barbless but smaller than a 32 Mustad. She also says I have excessive dubbing, too many vises for her taste, more synthetics than natural, back looks like moose mane, micro fibbets suit me, I should invest in micro tweezers, head cement needs a crucial mass to adhere, appearance reminds her of a poorly tied Sowbug with lots of guard hairs in the wrong spots, my proportions are way off, even wingers won't help, and to top it all off....she prefers Swedes, Danes & Rottweillers.
Go figure! Wait until I tell Dr. Demento about the moose mane back stuff. He loves to use Swax, hi tack. Boy oh boy, am I in trouble now! ;-)
Oh well, have been working on an appropriate pattern variation of the Triple K (Byard Miller original) with sowbug traits. Any urls with pitures of natural sowbugs or sowbug patterns greatly appreciated. I'd like to marry the attraction of the Triple K with the actual sowbugs and already have some prototypes.
