Sorry about the passing of Dave. Unfortunately, I only knew him by name. My
condolences to family and friends.
I know his contributions to VFB will be greatly missed.

I am deeply saddened this morning. My very close personal friend and a
friend to all on this list is gone. David Murphy passed away earlier this
morning.
Murf was one of the kindest most generous persons I've ever had the
pleasure of knowing. I first met Dave at the Fly Tying Symposium about 10
years ago. We fished, tied flies and caroused ever since. Those memories
will stay with me forever.
