Jimmy: Thanks for the tip.. Just in time too, as we have a front coming in Thursday, and I will go fishing again tomorrow. Keep an eye on the weather and when the next advertised front comes thru, try fishing ahead of the front. The fish have a tendency to feed voraciously before a front, be it a cold front or a warm front. The day that the front passes won't be worth a tinker's damn, and neither will the next two or three days. I used to have a 155 gal aquarium with 3 10-pound pacu's in it. I didn't mean to, they just grew that big from little guys. One winter night the heater went out and the aquaruim, which was downstairs, chilled off very rapidly overnight. I bought a new heater the next day, and warmed the tank back up, but the fish seemed like they weren't feeling good and didn't eat for another 3 days. They finally pulled out of it and ate like pigs for a week. So now you have something to look forward to- a feeding frenzy. But they would not bite for nothing..I tried wet flies, dry flies, and damp flies LOL... I then put on a curly grub tailed jig and trolled it through those fish.. NOTHING.. I also talked to about four boatloads of other (bass fishermen) ppl fishing, and nobody had caught anything...I don't know what the problem is. The surface water temp is 52-54 degrees, and i guess it got cold too quick the other week and still has the fish's metabolism's still slowed down to much to be hungry....
