Personally, I say the best fishing is any day I get to go. One of the best days I had this Summer was in late September. Beautiful day. Gorgeous day. Just downright simply a GLORIOUS day on the water. And nope, I didn't get a single strike! But that's the day i remember best this year. I had some "catching" days, but none of them were as nice as that "Fishing only" day. i agree Allan..best day i had last season was the Sunday morning i took my wife out for "wading lessons", then working on her casting....our girls were upstream chunking lures in a deeper pool too. Local warden stopped to check licenses so i sent him up to the girls to see their reactions...no fish but what fun!!! Tom in VT
