Folks: We have been talking about tippet material, and I have a question... I
have a roll of Orvis 6X 3.5 pound test .005 diameter tippet.. It "rolls over"
well for me, but when I take a piece and pull, it just is soo small, it snaps
with very little power to break it. I know that fish "weigh" a lot less in
water, than if you were pulling them in on land. But, does anybody lose a lot
of fish with this small (6X) tippet??? or Not?? I have just started using a 4
pound "mono" line, that is much harder to break, but does NOT "turn over" as
easy, at least not for me it don't.. Thanks in advance, Chuck
