You want to catch BIG BASS, you use BIG FLIES. All of my 10 largemouth
bass over 8 pounds, that I've caught chunking and winding as well as
with Bass Bugs have been on the larger lures/flies. Most of those at or
under 8 pounds have also fallen for BIG lures. Homer Circle, one of the
alltime great bass anglers said that big bass didn't want to waste their
time on little stuff. I believed him then and I believe him now. Same
way with the Bass Professor, Doug Hannon. Doug is credited with
catching over 300 largemouths over 10 pounds, all of which were caught
on Shiners at least 9-10" long.
So Chuckie, quit being a TIGHT WAD and tie'em separate. :-P
