Jimmy: No, we have state parks and then we have state lakes.. There are several
throughout the state. I fish the one in Clay County. It consist of three lakes
of about 10 acres each..My Daughter and Step brother work at Cheaha State park,
and they don't stock trout there, but there are trout in some of those mountain
streams which are about 57 degrees (I think) year round cause we caught some
when I was a Boy Scout..I think the CCC Conservation corps built the state
lakes way back when.. They built Cheaha park too..Used all native stone to
build all those buildings..Beautiful place. That's where my daughter got
married, atop Mt Cheaha.. I got some GREAT pics off the look out points, Chuck

Chuck, are you talking about "state parks"? Mt. Cheaha, Chawalca, etc. ? If
so, check with them to see if they stock rainbow trout during December -
January.
Texas Parks & Wildlife annually stocks several state park lakes benefiting
fly fisnermen during these two months. They also stock some small ponds within
selected towns.

Jim: We have "State Lakes" in Alabama, and the nearest one to me is only 7
miles from my house. You can fish there for $2 a day, and $2 to launch a boat
if you want too.. But, they keep the banks cleans and mowed etc, and it is
great fun practice casting there. I plan to go there tomorrow (Friday as it's
12:48 am here).. BTW, what Latitudes are South Korea on, so I have an idea of
the climate??? Thanks, Chuck
