I was talking to a Wyoming Game & Fish biologist this morning about this weekend's fishing, considering the snow and run-off. We got to talking flies and I asked him about the Chili-pepper. He hadn't heard of it, but his special go-to fly is similar, and it's called the Orange-blossom Special.
Tough I'd tie up some to compliment my peppers and give it a go, too. http://www.riverbum.com/Salmon-&-Steelhead/Orange-Blossom-Special/ I'd be interested to hear how it works from others. He got it from a friend from W. Virginia who does a lot of smallmouth fishing. Said it was his killer pattern, and it worked on Wyoming trout, too. DonO
